Phil began teaching in Port Angeles when hired by the school district in 1977. The following year he and Deborah created and ran the very successful North Olympic Youth Symphonies. After running the youth orchestras for 25 years we took some time off (in Costa Rica!!). Now that we have returned to our home in Port Angeles and plan to continue working with students young and old. Phil teaches private viola and violin, and conducts the Sequim Community Orchestra, as well as assists Deborah with her workshops.
